Abstract

This paper investigates the outage probability (OP) of a down-link non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) integrated with the energy harvesting (EH) strategy for multiple users. Here, NOMA is considered in the power-domain and EH will be investigated in the transmission mode of only energy or information transferring at the moment time, where the process is conducted via two time slots. Under Rayleigh fading channels, we analyze and obtain the closed-form expressions for OP. The correctness of our analytical expressions are validated by Monte Carlo simulations and demonstrate the advantages of our proposed system model, where the positive influences of the time allocation coefficients, the power allocation coefficients and the average signal-to-noise (SNR) to system performance are achieved.
