In wireless multimedia sensor networks, the development of secure and energy-efficient routing protocols is of particular importance due to the sensitive nature of transmitted data and the resource limitations of sensor nodes. The Two Phase Geographic Forwarding Protocol (TPGF) [1] is a routing protocol based on geographic principles, aimed at improving multimedia data transmission. However, attacks on the protocol have also been identified, and its variants have been developed to address different security objectives. In this paper, we conduct an evaluation and simulation to highlight the trade-off performance metrics of routing protocols for application and deployment in specific scenarios.
